2025 BASKET UPGRADE PROJECT

We’re excited to announce our next capital project to benefit Disc Golf in Lancaster County!

This goal requires the purchase of over 50 baskets and will cost approximately $30,000 in total. We plan on securing these funds in several different ways.

May 21st 2025 - Exciting news to share for our Basket Upgrade project at Roland Park and Muddy Run! As of today, we are at $10,100 in our fundraiser and well on the way to our goal of $30,000. Also we inked a deal with DGA and received our first shipment of 18 baskets, ready to assemble and install!

DIRECT DONATIONs

You or your organization can contribute directly here. Funds also come from the club itself (from membership dues, league fees and our fund allocations.) Be sure to select “Akron Course Upgrade Project” when donating.

BASKET AUCTIONS

An auctioning of all the current baskets at Akron. The auction is live now for the first batch of nine of the Mach 3 baskets in positions from Hole 10 through 18. Follow this link to check out the offerings and start the bidding. The auction will end on June 22nd. We know there’s been a lot of chatter about getting the basket you got your first ace on, or even the first hole you played in the sport “back in the day.” Let’s help raise another chunk of $$ toward the new baskets. HOLE SPONSORSHIPS

Hole Sponsorships for all 27 holes at Akron. We are still seeking local businesses and entities (families, etc) that are interested in sponsoring holes. The cost is $600 per hole and will guarantee you a sponsorship sign on the hole of your choosing (subject to availability) for a minimum of 5 years.
